What is a Twinkles?

Twinkles is a small gem specially designed to bond firmly to the surface of the tooth. Made of 22-24k gold or 18k white gold set with diamonds or precious stones covering 1/4 - 1/3 of the surface - tiny and elegant it will enhance your smile without risk of damage or allergies. The diamonds we use are brilliant cut Wesselton SI 0,01 ct in all models except model round 0,02 ct.

How is a Twinkles attached?

For a durable bonding Twinkles are glued with a dental composite glue by a professional. Tooth gems should NOT be bonded at home with normal glue. We do not supply glue with the gem as this is already available in the clinic. The bonding procedure is similar to bonding procedures, which leave the tooth intact and allow easy removal.

I always had a fear of dentist imagining the worst pain possible but since I've been going to this location everything has been put to the side they are kind patient-friendly and gentle. They really put the patient's comfortability first. I highly recommend this place to anyone who's always had a fear of dentists or just wants a good experience.

How long will the Twinkles stay on the tooth?

A Twinkles gem mounted on a natural tooth (will not stick to porcelain caps) can stay on until you decide to have it removed at a dentist clinic, but generally, it stays on for around 1 year. Crystals may stay on for 3-6 months.

Will the jewel harm the tooth?

No. The Twinkles gems are bonded to the surface of the enamel like an orthodontic bracket. No drilling or damage to the tooth is done.

About Us

How do I remove a Twinkles?

Removal should be performed by a dental professional. Removal is done by the dentist or dental hygienist in the same manner braces are removed – the gem is polished off and usually will leave no visible mark on the tooth.

Will Twinkles impede dental hygiene?

No, the presence of the Twinkles will encourage brushing since it brings more attention to the smile. You can also chew and have your teeth professionally cleaned as usual. The area underneath the Twinkles is sealed and will not be open for any bacteria.
