How is a CEREC Same-Day Restoration Performed?
The CEREC restoration process will begin with an appointment where we create your unique treatment program. The process will require an electronic scan of your mouth. The scan will allow our team to manufacture your custom restoration. From that point, your restoration will be placed into the CEREC machine to be milled. The amount of time required to make your restoration will be dependent on its size. Once the restoration is ready, we will finish and polish the piece before cementing it in place. We will then fix the restoration so it fits properly and matches your natural enamel.
What Can I Expect After Same-Day Restoration Treatments?
Once your CEREC restoration is created, it is essential for you to keep up a good at-home dental hygiene regimen. You also need to schedule annual dental exams and bi-annual cleanings at East Village Dental Center in New York City. At every appointment, we will assess your restoration and perform any necessary repairs or alterations to help maintain your smile healthy. If cared for properly, CEREC restorations can remain in place for several years.
