"Best experience I had with a dentist. I had multiple issues because my previous dentist didn’t do the work in a timely manner. Dr. Shah seen me right away and assessed that my tooth has to come out because it was an old root canal that got infected. Dr. Kaufman squeezed me in that same day to evaluate and offered to extract same day. He explained everything in detail. He made sure I was as comfortable as possible and made me aware of the procedure step by step as he was doing it. So I knew what I was feeling and why. I didn’t feel a thing actually. The front desk staff was also very friendly and detailed when explaining the benefits and what would be covered by my insurance. She gave me options and ways to do the work affordably. All around great experience. They disinfected all surfaces and took proper steps to ensure a clean environment. Everyone answered all questions asked. They were all knowledgeable."
"Like most people, I don’t like to go to the dentist but when I do, . I would highly recommend EVD. Dr. Kaufman and Dr. Patel provide excellent care. and I never feel any pain when they’re working on me. The only complaint I have is that they are not always on time with scheduled appointments and there can be a wait so that’s why only 4 Stars. Other than that, it’s clean and they accept my insurance 🤩"

I found the doctor knowledgeable and able to communicate well, and the office staff was very helpful.--- adding to this review after going to this dentist for over a year now, I continue to get treatments I trust here. I have had work done by both Dr. Kaufman and Dr. Hausserman, and both have been very good and would be trusted again. Also, oddly, very little pain so far from procedures here. They seem to be pretty good at minimizing discomfort here."

"I look for honesty feed back . Felt comfortable with the staff and surgeon. Hoping my insurance would be taken but was not . Looked for other options to get my teeth done other payment plans. DDS,MS Kaufman is very understanding to details he makes you feel at ease before proceeding with your dental issues. Angel and Madeline office staff are very friendly and they also explains your situation regarding your teeths insurance what is next etc. So far so good. A+ to everyone at East Village Dental Center. I just wish they can retake my insurance instead of finding other means of paying back for your care. I felt very comfortable today on my way to my visit. situation was explained clearly what was to be done. Was done. Everyone there very helpful at East Village Dental. "Everyone is very polite and patient. It was just my second visit, first was for a cleaning which they didn't rush through. My teeth felt and looked cleaner. My second required some work, an onlay and a cavity, both were handle nicely by Dr. Kaufman. Onlay was made onsite which was convenient seeing that I hate going to the dentist and I did not require a follow-up visit. 😁"
"My Dentist referred to visit a Periodontist/Oral Surgeon.Dr. Kaufman was steady with 4.5- 5 stars.I then searched via My insurance provider to narrow my choices.I minimized 3 Doctors.I individually dissected each one based on *credentials*,reviews,availability,affiliations,etc.I wanted to start my treatment as soon as possible so I began to call my top 3 finalist.The gentlemen that answered the phone was beyond pleasant with patience.He was really looking into the schedule to accommodate me for a consultation.I think his name is Christian.Front desk didn't acknowledge my presence upon arrival because they were busy talking.Moments upon check in,a technician escorted me for X-Ray.The Female staff was very dry and sour.I consulted with the Doctor.He confirmed what my Dentist had stated.Nothing was set on stone, just possibilities of my treatment.No gimmicks.I felt I made a good choice with him.His professionalism made up for the unforeseen disappointments towards the very end."
"My regular chosen dentist made a referral to visit a Periodontist and Oral Surgeon. I looked at reviews via ZocDoc, Yelp and many other sites. I eliminated many based on mixed reviews. Dr. Kaufman was steady with 4.5 to 5 stars. I then searched via My insurance provider to narrow my choices. I narrowed my search to three Doctors. I individually dissected each one based on *credentials* , reviews, availability before/ after the regular 9 am-5 pm schedules, etc. I wanted to start my treatment as soon as possible so I began to call my top three finalist. The young gentlemen that answered the phone was beyond pleasant with patience and was really looking into the schedule to accommodation me for a consultation. I was excited just because of how well he took my call. I think his name is Christian. On Sept 1, I received a call stating if I can arrive at least 15 minutes before my 5:30 pm appointment for Sept 2. No problem, I can do that. Then I received multiple calls about coming in earlier, at 5:00 pm. It was pushing it, but will try. Then another call came in if I can come at 4:30 pm. That one was difficult. At this point I was thinking, I work and prefer the earliest before 9 am, during my lunch or latest after 5 pm appointment available. Did staff assume I do nothing during the day. Nevertheless, I arrived just a couple of minutes before 5 pm on Sept 2, 2020. Front desk didn't acknowledge my presence because they were busy talking. For a moment I did not feel welcomed. I was thinking and asked myself, should I get the consultation (since I am here) and call the other providers for treatment or just leave. Moments upon check in, a technician came to escort me for X-Rays. The Female staff was very dry and sour in her tone. I didn't expect bubbly but I wanted some type of, "I like my job" attitude. She took me to consult with Dr. Kaufman where he confirmed what my Dentist had stated based on the X-Rays I already provided. Nothing was set on stone, just possibilities of my treatment. No gimmicks. I felt that I made a good choice with him. He was noted to be one of the best so I went for it. Upon conclusion, one of the receptionist was providing a two weeks later appointment. I thought, this wasn't going to work out for me. I almost was going to take the appointment just to cancel it after getting an appointment with one of the other providers. Dr. Kaufman immediately intervene (as if reading my thoughts) and took a look at the schedule with her and was able to provide a date and time within a week. This was great. I can come during my lunch hour and not loose too much time from work. Dr. Kaufman's professionalism made up for the unforeseen disappointments towards the very end."
"An amazing experience. I needed a wisdom extraction, and Dr. Kaufman, did it right away. The extraction was less than 3 minutes. I can already feel the difference. No more headaches or pain. Thank you for the after care advice Dr. Kaufman! See you next week for my checkup."
